Parking Brake Cable Kit 1964-1965 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parking brake kit - came as advertised Bought because my 1965 had a "parking brake incident" about 15 years ago where the OEM style cables from the lever/adjuster back to the rear of the car got wrapped around the driveshaft at 50mph. Needless to say the car stopped real quick and since then the stretched out OEM cables were worthless. Kit came as pictured and appears to be of great quality. Please note that some original 1965 rear cables are a one-piece that connects to the adjuster. This kit uses a two-piece cable which (in my opinion) is probably a better setup. Didn't really need a new parking brake handle, but it's shiny and nice. The only thing I can't quite figure out is what the two cable brackets are for and where exactly they mount on the underside of the vehicle as there is nothing like them anywhere on the undercarriage. Any ideas???

Doing a search over the web and I keep coming across this kit. I am replace the parking brake out of a 1962 F100, do you know if this kit would fit. I believe the front cable part # for a F100 is 2853 and the dual rear cables are part # 2A790.
