Power Steering Slave Cylinder 1965-1970 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from exact fit I got this to replace my old factory cylinder that had a bent rod and it was a breeze to swap out. Took about 10 minutes and is a one man job so it was pretty easy. Looks great and works great. I LOVE CJ's!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Threaded end of piston rod was pitted with rust. When I bought this I was under the impression that it was a new unit and not a rebuilt, it appears to be a rebuilt.

You don't need to take this apart. Just install it. Make sure you get the boot kit for proper installation.

When will the 1967 slave cylinder be in stock? And will it still have the same sale price of 100.99?

Asked by: 602Fitter
If you order today, you'll get it at today's price, regardless of when it ships. That being said, with this part, it could be awhile....

This looks like the same slave cylinder under my 74 ford maverick with a 302 engine. will it interchange and fit.

Asked by: mojo2
Unsure. We've only tested it for the fitments listed, so if it fits your Maverick, that's unknown to us. That doesn't mean it won't; we just don't know.

Power Steering Slave Cylinder 1965-1970 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We're here with a replacement power steering slave cylinder. This power steering slave cylinder will fit all 1965-1970 Mustangs using an original style power steering system. It comes with brand new castle nuts on both ends, the correct fittings, and brand new insulators. It does not include the boot kit, so you will need to purchase that separately. If you're having issues with your steering not returning to the center properly, or you're getting leaks under your car, a new slave cylinder might be the part that you need.
