To clear the padded radio bezel cover, you must have these elusive, one year only, deep well knobs. Look close at the detail, these are the most spot-on reproduction Ford radio knobs ever made.

These will also work on 1968 Mustangs without a console and 1967 Mustangs or Cougars with or without console, although they would not be letter correct for anything but a 1968 with a console.
