Product Description

2" Standard Dual Exhaust Kit with Ceramic Tri-Y Headers for all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 Mustangs with a 289 or 302 Engine.

Replace your damaged or missing original exhaust system with a completely new standard dual exhaust kit. This kit includes everything needed from the engine to the tailpipes. The most complete kit we offer!

Includes Pertronix ceramic coated Tri-Y headers. These headers will provide horsepower improvements and great looks for years to come! Constructed from 16 gauge steel tubing, then miter cut and mig welded together for a very unique sound. The primary tubes are 1-1/2", the secondary tubes are 1-3/4" and the collectors are 2-1/2". Tri-Y headers also include 2-1/4" collector reducers, gaskets and hardware.

- Pertronix ceramic coated Tri-Y headers
- Header collector reducers 2-1/2" to 2"
- H-pipe 2"
- 2-Intermediate pipes 2"
- 2-Mufflers 2"
- 2-Tailpipes 2"
- 8-Exhaust U-clamps 2"
- 2-Exhaust hangers

*This exhaust kit will NOT work with staggered shocks
*Power steering equipped cars will need part (SCB) to lower the power steering slave cylinder for clearance.
*Will NOT fit GT-40P heads or AOD transmission!
*Sometimes some small modifications are necessary to the equalizer bar and clutch rods for clearance on manual transmission vehicles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit Everything was a great fit except minor interference with the power steering even with the lowering bracket. I added a few washers and clearance was no longer an issue. I would invest in buying better hangers.

When I buy this kit for 1967 mustang is there any modifying or cutting that has to be done or extra parts need?  The engine is a 289 and no power steering
