Rated 1 out of 5 by sanjose427 from Poor Quality I purchased this firewall seal and reinforcement plate to replace the original worn out one installed in the car. I installed it correctly, installed the steering box and then the steering column. As the steering column when through the seal, it cracked and tore. I was not forceful, nor did I jerk it around side to side (which would be difficult since it is on the steering shaft.) I was told to put white grease on the seal before trying it again, so I ordered another one and will try again after it arrives.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sgjay from Rubber seal not a quality item The rubber seal is of poor quality and tore as I was installing it. I did not force it on. In my opinion the hole was too small and the material was not elastic enough to stretch around the diameter of the tube. The plate, however, seems to be a quality piece with good fit and finish.
