Product Description

1965 Style 15"x7" Styled Steel Wheel for all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

Specifically designed to replicate the optional Styled Steel wheel found on 1965 Mustangs, this beautiful Styled Steel Wheel features a larger than stock size of 15" x 7" with a finish that consists of a chrome center section, bronze painted inserts and a chrome outer lip. Each wheel is constructed in the USA for durability and quality reassurance.

With the correct 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern, this 1965 Style 15" x 7" Styled Steel Wheel will also fit most 5-lug 1965-1973 Mustangs for a classic, custom look. However, the 15" x 7" wheel is not recommended for use on the front of 1965-1966 Mustangs as they do not have enough clearance from the factory for a 7" wheel in most cases, a 5" or 6" wide wheel is a safer alternative and generally recommended.

Wheels are Available as a:
- Single Wheel: One wheel without a center cap or lug nuts
- Set of Four Wheels: Four wheels without center caps or lug nuts
- Kit of Four Wheels: Four wheels with center caps and lug nuts
- Wheel and Tire Package: A wheel set or kit with your choice of four tires mounted, balanced and ready to bolt on

Scott Drake's original style, reproduction Styled Steel Wheel Center Caps feature Ford Mustang text around the classic tri-bar running horse logo with the factory correct red background. These center caps were originally used on 1965-1966 Mustangs with the optional Styled Steel wheels. They will however, fit all 1965-1973 Styled Steel wheels and can be used on most wheels with a 1.75" center bore. With perfect detail and correct accent color, Scott Drake's Styled Steel Wheel Center Caps are a smart choice for any restoration project or wheel upgrade. Sold as a set of four.

Please Note: This wheel is designed for fitment on Mustangs with factory equipped parts. The use of aftermarket disc brake conversion kits may lead to clearance issues. Please check fitment before ordering.

One of the easiest ways to get the biggest visual impact from an upgrade to your 1964-1973 Mustang is by adding some new wheels and tires from CJ Pony Parts to your car. There are many different wheel options available, from a classically styled wheel to match your classic Mustang, to a modern look for your retro-mod Mustang. With the addition of matching tires, your Mustang can look amazing in no time!

Have a 67 Mustang with front disc brake. I think the disc brakes are off a 1969-70 Mustang. I would like to use Wheel 15"x7" Styled Steel 1965 . Will they fit with the disc brakes? I would also like to us BFG RWL tires. What size tires should I use?

Asked by: Ralph Burke
As we note, aftermarket disc brakes can cause issues with these wheels. Since you're setup is so custom, it's hard for us to gauge whether it will fit or not on your car.

Hi, I want to buy a set of styled wheels 15x7 for my GT 1966, do you have the option of the Chrome center painted in charcoal color ?  Rgrds. Robert

Asked by: RNG Motorsport
I don't think we offer anything along those lines, so I think your best option is going to be to get something generic from our center cap category and customize it to those specs: http://www.cjponyparts.com/mustang-wheel-center-caps/c/60210030/

How are mag wheel backspacing measured? I have a 1977 maverick 8" rear in my1966 mustang which is 2" narrower then the original six cylinder 7" rear. The mag wheels need to extend from the hub the additional 1" both sides to keep rear track dimension.
