1966 Struts & Shocks

Your 1966 Mustang's struts and shocks are some of the hardest working parts in your car. They absorb shocks and keep your vehicle stable through curves and while braking and accelerating. Eventually, your Mustang's shock absorbers wear out, and you end up with a much rougher ride, uneven tire wear, and a loss of stability. Fortunately, replacing your shocks and struts is an easy maintenance procedure.

Get More Control with High-Quality Shocks and Struts

Factory shocks and struts are designed to meet the needs of most drivers. But if you're not like most drivers, then you may want to consider some of the other options. With adjustable shocks and struts, you can control the firmness and change it as needed. If you use your Mustang for weekend rides and for track days, then you'll benefit from the ability to easily swap between settings.

If you've damaged a single shock or strut, we do sell replacements. But most of the time you'll benefit from replacing all four shock absorbers at once. This guarantees the most consistency for better handing and stability. That's why many sets will include everything you need for a total replacement.

You may also want to consider swapping over to coilovers. Coilovers also offer adjustability, and can be used to lower your Mustang.
