1992 Mustang Engine

Your 1992 Mustang's engine needs regular maintenance to continue performing as you expect it to. And if you've decided you need a power upgrade, then you'll need to decide between modifying your existing engine and replacing it completely.

Make Your Underhood Vision a Reality

Upgrading your engine doesn't have to be complicated. Replacing worn out parts and upgrading your filters can rejuvenate your Mustang, returning it to its original power and performance. But if you want even better performance, then swapping some of your stock parts with aftermarket upgrades can give you the boost you need. Simply swapping out your intake manifold can improve your engine's performance.

Serious performance upgrades mean more involved installations. But adding a supercharger or nitrous kit will give you a performance improvement that won't escape anyone's notice. These aftermarket parts are known for the impressiveness of their horsepower increases.

But if your Mustang's engine isn't working well or you want an even bigger power upgrade, then a crate engine is a perfect solution. These drop-in engines are ready to be loaded into your Mustang, and offer modern performance improvements. In 1992, 400 horsepower was out of reach for most Mustangs. That's no longer the case, and a Coyote engine can be added to your Fox.
