Sway Bars
If you don't have a 2005 Mustang sway bar, your pony car won't corner as smoothly and precisely as you want it to. Instead, your chassis' weight will shift toward the outside during the turn and compress the springs on that particular side.

2005 Sway Bars

Inside springs typically extend a bit or simply do nothing. However, sway bars facilitate coupling of your vehicle's suspension on both sides relative to your pony car’s chassis. In addition, 2005 Mustang sway bars increase spring rates on the side that is compressed the most (depending on which way you are turning). Completely solid sway bars without twists exert 100 percent coupling, which means compressing one spring will lead to compressing both springs.

Sway bars do nothing if you drive over a bump in the road. However, if you corner enough to make your Mustang's chassis lean to one side and compress outside suspension parts, 2005 Mustang sway bars keep your car level, steady and close to the road. When you limit your pony car’s lean, it allows you to quickly “set” into cornering so your car's chassis doesn't continue leaning sideways once tires reach their limit.

The 2005 Mustang sway bars available at CJ's offer an excellent upgrade for any performance enthusiast. Our 2005 Mustang sway bar kits contain everything you need to reduce body roll, improve vehicle control and distribute chassis weight evenly to prevent unnecessary wear and tear of your suspension.
