Designs include an “open runner” look, which shows the routes of the air passages. Another design features the Mustang “pony” emblem with the words “Powered by Ford,” both of which are raised off the surface of the manifold for a classy look.

Charge motion plates are located in the intake runners and have “butterflies,” which the motor opens and closes, depending on the throttle position. Some Mustang owners report the OE charge plates are too restrictive. If you need a replacement or want to upgrade for more power, we have replacement charge motion plates. Made of billet aluminum, they bolt right on with basic hand tools. The result is stronger torque and more power.
