5-Bolt Fuel Tank Sending Unit 0-30 Ohm for 1947-1966 Chevy and GMC Trucks.
Replace the fuel level sending unit in your 1947-1966 Chevy or GMC truck with this adjustable 0-30 Ohm fuel tank sending unit. Featuring an SAE 5-bolt mounting pattern, this sender can be cut to length using the included instructions to accommodate fuel tanks ranging from 6"-24" deep.
A high-quality ceramic board rheostat provides the resistance signal used by the fuel gauge to indicate the fuel level. Because the sender reads resistance to ground, it is compatible with 6-24-volt electrical systems with either positive or negative ground. This sending unit does not incorporate a fuel pickup tube.
