Brothers Trucks Hydraulic Assist Conversion - Disc/Drum

Hydraulic brake ssist units are powered by hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump. These units do not require a vacuum source and can generate between 1200 to 2000 psi to the calipers. This system has several advantages, such as not requiring a external vacuum pump for high performance motors, a small bore master cylinder is not required, and firewall & valve cover and/or frame mounted clearance is increased.
Hydroboost Power Brake Conversion Kit
Use with front disc and rear drum brake systems
Includes hydroboost unit, master cylinder, brake proposioning valve, and mounting bracket to firewall
Uses power steering hydraulic pressure to provide power brakes - does not require any engine vacuum, but must have power steering for hydrualic pressure to operate system
Smaller size than typical vacuum operated brake booster - for extra valve cover and firewall clearance
