Cut pile carpet is similar to what is found in most domestic vehicles since 1974. The cut pile material creates more of a plush feel compared to the original 80/20 loop carpet. Additionally, this carpet is precision heat molded in two separate pieces for a perfect fit and easy installation. It is produced using ACC's premium nylon cut pile material that is constructed from 100 percent first quality DuPont yarn. The cut pile material is tufted on a 1/8 gauge machine with 14 ounces of yarn per square yard. It is then dyed black using the finest dyes available and tested for ozone humidity fading and light fastness. The underside of the carpet features heavy 36 ounce jute padding for insulation. The exposed edges of this carpet feature vinyl binding and a heel pad is also present for added wear resistance.

Please Note: ACC's carpets do not come with pre-cut holes, allowing you to make the necessary cuts only where needed for various interior components.

Tech Tip: When you first take your new carpet out of the box, you may notice quite a few wrinkles. This is normal. We recommend laying the carpet out in the sun for a few hours to help soften the jute backing and to help reduce the amount of wrinkles that are visible prior to installation.

We’re here with a cut pile carpet kit fitting a 1966 through 1976 Bronco from ACC. This carpet kit from ACC is a full kit designed to fit your 1966 through 1976 Bronco with the twin fuel tanks. Starting off with the carpet material itself, it's in the original style 80/20 loop. It's going to be a cut pile carpet which will be much plusher and a much nicer overall carpet than the original style. The kit's going to include five pieces total. It's going to have your front passenger section, which will be a one-piece carpet with a vinyl pad for your heel. You're going to have your cargo area carpet, carpet for both wheel wells, and finally a tailgate carpet. You can see the cut pile is a lot plusher than the original style carpet. You have your cutout right here for your high beams, and you have the original style backing and the original style insulation. On both the cargo area carpet as well as the tailgate carpet, you're going to have this finished seam on the edges here to give it a much more finished look when installed. This ACC carpet kit again is custom molded for the interior of your Bronco with the twin fuel tanks. It makes a really nice upgrade for your interior.
