This carpet is made from 100% nylon cut pile and is manufactured with over 40% more nylon fibers than the average aftermarket cut pile carpet. This increase in fibers, along with the 3/8” height, creates a super-plush carpet that feels great under your feet.

This Essex carpet is precision heat molded in two separate pieces for a perfect fit and easy installation. The deep black finish is created using the finest dyes available to ensure long-lasting color in the face of ozone humidity fading and light fastness. Each carpet is equipped with a heavy 36oz. jute padding, but if you’re looking for more insulation, the optional mass backing is a great choice. Mass backing is a thick rubber layer that sits between the carpet and jute insulation, increasing carpet rigidity while decreasing road noise.

*This carpet is intended for use in 1969-1970 fastback Mustangs that were not equipped with the Mach 1 package.
*This carpet will fit 1969-1970 fastback Mach 1 Mustangs but will not look correct. 1969 and 1970 fastback Mach 1 Mustang specific carpet is available with the correct insert pads.

Please Note: ACC's carpets do not come with pre-cut holes, allowing you to make the necessary cuts only where needed for various interior components.

Tech Tip: When you first take your new carpet out of the box, you may notice quite a few wrinkles. This is normal. We recommend laying the carpet out in the sun for a few hours to help soften the backing and to help reduce the number of wrinkles that are visible prior to installation.
