The BladeRunner Intercooler is manufactured out of high quality 3” Bar and Plate Core this allows for greater airflow and better efficiency. The end tanks on this intercooler are constructed from 3/16" 5052 aluminum. once everything is constructed it is completely tig welded for superior strength and durability. aFe has also added CNC machined ports which can be used for a condensation drain, sensors, or water methanol injection. The BladeRunner Intercooler utilizes the factory mounting locations, this makes for a hassle free installation.

The aFe cold side tube is constructed from large 3-1/2” and 3” aluminum tubing that is mandrel bent for maximum air flow. Once the cold side tube is constructed it is then powder coated in a wrinkle black finish, this gives it a factory style appearance. The smooth transition bends decrease turbulence, minimize pressure loss, while increasing horsepower and torque. This cold side tube is also equipped with a billet aluminum factory style quick connect adapter that seals with an o-ring. A 1/8” NPT port is welded in place this can be used for a sensor of water-methanol injection.
