Novice skill is required for this installation.
This auxiliary switch trim is gonna fit your 2010-2014 Raptor, comes in a polished finish, and is made right here in the USA, and installs easy with supplied double-stick tape.
First thing you want to do is clean the area where it's gonna go. Make sure this outer edge, with a little bit of alcohol on here, get it as clean as possible. If it's extremely dirty, grab a little bit of soapy water and clean it ahead of time.
And the next thing you're gonna notice, the piece itself is flat, your panel has a curve to it, so what you're gonna want to do, put it down on there and kind of bend it a little bit, sorta match the curve. Once you have that right, gotta make sure it matches, then we can use some primer before we put it on.
The primer's included, let's grab it, gonna crack it right in the middle, shake it up a little bit, and go over everywhere where the double-stick is gonna touch.
Now we remove the backing from the double-stick tape, and then carefully line it up and stick it down. You gotta work around a little bit to match all the curves. It'll stick really well with the promoter we put on. And your installation is finished.
Once it's installed, the auxiliary switch trim looks like a factory part. It matches the cup holder and shifter pretty much perfectly, and looks like it could've come that way from the factory. Installation, again, very easy, just make sure you get the bends right. It's a five minute installation, you'll be back on the road in no time.
