American Powertrain Hydraulic Clutch Bearing for Tremec TR4050 Transmissions in 1960-1987 Chevy C10s.
Proper clutch release geometry is critical when installing a Tremec TR4050 transmission in 1960-1987 Chevy C10s. This hydraulic clutch bearing provides a compact internal release solution for both 2WD and 4WD GM applications using the TR4050. The integrated adjustment screw allows fine tuning of bearing height, with a recommended .200” air gap for correct clearance.
Constructed from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, the clutch bearing features a bright dipped red anodized finish for corrosion resistance. It includes two 12” stainless steel braided hoses with AN-4 connections, one supply line and one bleed line, along with a bearing retainer and bleeder assembly. Ethylene propylene-based rubber O-rings provide reliable sealing under hydraulic pressure.
