The ARP Head Stud Kit is constructed out of high quality 8740 Chrome Moly. The 8740 Chrome Moly Head Studs are a tough steel that is quenched and tempered for a tensile strength between 180,000 and 210,000 psi. A black coating is applied to the Head Studs, this eliminates rust and corrosion from occurring. The mounting nuts are chrome plated. The chrome plated mounting nuts provide some contrast under the hood of your Ford.
