Baer Brakes Extreme+ Front Brake System with Red Calipers 6-Lug Chevy C10 1960-1987

When it’s time to refine your 1960-1987 Chevy C10’s brakes, treat it to this front brake system by Baer Brakes (4301391R). Specially made for 6 X 5.5 bolt patterns, this system contains 6S Monoblock calipers forged from 2618 aluminum and powder-coated a fiery red. Six pistons lie inside, constructed from stainless steel into staggered sizes for less wear over time. Two-piece rotors plated with zinc join them, offering excellent heat regulation via their drilled and slotted surfaces. Even though the rotors have a 14” diameter, the calipers are compatible with any rotor that has a 13-1/2” to 16” diameter.

For extra protection to the rotors, each has a 6061 T-6 aluminum hat bolted onto them. DOT-compliant seals then offer the system protection from dust and other outside elements. The rest of the system is comprised of stainless steel brake hoses, correct banjo-style fittings, and a set of hubs made from 6061 T-6 aluminum. Since they’re pre-assembled, the hubs include bearings, studs, and are packed with Redline synthetic grease.
