The BAKFlip G2 was designed and built to fit the 6’ 6” bed of your 2004-2014 F-150 like a glove by fitting inside the bed of your truck with its no-profile design. This provides the bed of your truck with both a sleek, flush appearance and excellent security for the items in the bed of your F-150 once you shut and lock the tailgate. BAK has constructed the BAKFlip G2 F-150 bed cover using solid EPS cores with an outer aluminum skin. This makes the segments of the cover relatively light, yet durable enough to withstand up to 300lbs evenly distributed across the cover.

Traditional folding covers have hinges that can corrode from being exposed to the elements and wear out from being used time and time again. Fortunately, BAK has designed a unique hinge that is constructed from EPDM rubber which will not corrode or wear out. These rubber hinges also will not leak! Operating the BAKFlip G2 cover is simple and can be done from either side of the truck bed. Simply pull on the release cable to release the latches to open and fold the segments of the cover. When closing the cover, BAK’s patented slam latch system will keep each segment of the cover latched and secured. With the BAKFlip G2s folding design you are able to keep the bed of your F-150 fully enclosed, segmented for medium sized cargo loads or fully opened for complete use of your 6’ 6” bed with the cover folded up completely for large cargo.
