BluePrint Engines 460-Horsepower Long Block GM 454 C.I. Big-Block Crate Engine.
For the enthusiast who loves nothing more than unwinding with some smooth cruising, this engine is for you. The perfect daily driver, this GM 454 big-block crate engine pulls up to 15” of vacuum. This allows great power brake support. It's even compatible with stock torque converters and gearings. Rigorously tested by BluePrint Engines, it runs beautifully on 87 octane fuel.

Additional Notes:
- Does NOT include an intake manifold or fuel system components.
- The initial advance should be set at 13-16 degrees BTDC. The total advance should be NO MORE than 34 degrees BTDC and should be reached by about 4000 RPM. Failure to follow these guidelines can cause detonation damage and will void the warranty.
- The cylinder heads feature a .300" raised exhaust port vs OEM casting. Please verify header and exhaust clearance prior to installation.
- It is highly recommended to use a distributor with a melonized iron or steel gear ONLY on this engine.
