Borgeson Steering Shaft Support Bearing/ Firewall Flange Bearing 3/4" Inner Diameter

A wide variety of applications will call for a Steering Shaft Support Bearing/Firewall Flange Bearing (700010), which you'll discover as you perform maintenance on your steering system. The Borgeson Bearing supports 3/4" splined and Double-D steering shafts passing through the firewall. It prevents looping and binding while also acting as a firewall seal for the steering shaft.

The Bearing is made of stainless steel and sold individually. It's the perfect part for supporting a -+ shaft through the firewall.  

You will need a Borgeson Bearing if you are using more than two joints in your steering system. For instance, an application with a vibration reducer and two u-joints will require a Support Bearing. A system with a double u-joint and a single u-joint has three flex points and will likewise require a Support Bearing.
