Borla's CrateMuffler (400820) is the world's first muffler purpose-built to optimize the sound & power of crate and custom built motors. With a directional design, the muffler's outlet can be identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. The directional design provides a unique sound, custom-tuned for each engine family and will dramatically reduce or completely eliminate exhaust drone on specified applications. They’re built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Precision computer-controlled CNC manufacturing ensures an accurate fit.

- This part is universal fitment, and can be installed in custom applications on various vehicles
- This muffler is directional. The outlet side has a mounting bracket attached. This muffler is intended to be used in a pair. Two mufflers are required for best sound and performance.
