A dirty air filter restricts airflow to your Bronco's engine, reducing power and efficiency. Swap yours out at regular intervals to make sure you’re providing optimal conditions. Or, get a reusable air filter that can be cleaned regularly and last for tens of thousands of miles.
Engine air filters serve as a barrier that blocks dust and debris from getting into your motor. Filters for a carbureted engine will mount inside the air cleaner. If you’ve crate-swapped your Bronco, a modern filter will sit to the side of the motor.
It’s up to you whether to get a disposable or reusable air filter. Disposable air filters are nice because they don’t have to be cleaned. However, reusable ones let you go much longer without buying a new one. No matter which you choose, brands like Edelbrock, K&N, and Injen provide excellent products for your Ford Bronco.
