Ignition Coils

Though your Bronco’s ignition coil is a small and frequently overlooked part, you’re not going anywhere without it. If you’ve been experiencing misfires, a rough idle, or less power, then your ignition coil may be to blame. If left for too long, you may stall your Bronco or have it fail to start at all.

If you’re restomodding your Bronco, upgrading your ignition system is necessary. A stock ignition system won’t be able to provide a spark that’s as powerful, or lasts as long, as a performance aftermarket coil. If you've upgraded your Bronco’s engine to have a higher rev range but are now getting misfires, a weak ignition coil could be to blame.

Upgrading your ignition coil is easy. You can swap it out while you're replacing your spark plugs or spark plug wires.
