There are four door lock and latch rods located in the door of your classic Bronco. There is one from the outer lock to the latch, one from the inner lock to the latch, one from the inner door handle to the latch and one more from the outer door handle to the latch. There is a total of six locations on those four rods, per door, that use these retainers. The door latch rod will go through the plastic insert of the retainer and the metal clip will then swivel over to lock itself onto the door latch rod.
