This intake is available with three filter options: the MaxFlow 5, the DryTech 3D, and the Donaldson PowerCore. The MaxFlow 5 filter features 5 layers of oiled cotton gauze sandwiched between two aluminum screens that protect the engine from damaging particles. This filter can last up to 40K miles between maintenance intervals and is reusable. The DryTech 3D uses a similar construction to the MaxFlow 5, replacing the oiled cotton gauze with dry synthetic textiles. It’s also reusable, but instead of lasting 40K miles, it lasts up to 50K miles between maintenance. The Donaldson PowerCore is designed as a free-flowing filter, further increasing vehicle performance while still maintaining top-grade engine protection. It’s 99.96% efficient and lasts up to 150K miles before needing to be replaced (not reusable)!
