Dakota Digital Gauge System VHX Silver Alloy Style Face F-100 1953-1955

While driving a classic 1953-1955 F-100 looks absolutely stunning from the outside, on the inside some of the gauges can be difficult to get accurate information from, especially during night driving. With that in mind Dakota Digital has created this VHX Gauge System with a Silver Alloy Style Face (VHX-53F-PU-S). Designed to fit directly into the stock dash of your F-100 this new VHX system includes a chromed, machined-6061 aluminum dash bezel.

The list of features in this not-so-simple Gauge System include fully lit needles, backlit faces and a highly visible LCD message center. In true patriotic fashion, the LCD message center features a red, white or blue back light. Each number, tick mark, annunciator, needle, indicator and digital message center is lit by a series of LEDs behind the gauge face. Some of the behind the scenes features include the micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy and user-customizable display feedback.

Programmed and operated by the push of a button, these gauges simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers.
