With a standard mount, this Wide Beam Single Stage Series C1 Pro LED Pod from Diode Dynamics can be situated nearly anywhere you need a boost of illumination. The ultra-compact size makes it an extra versatile choice since it can be mounted where larger LED pods simply won't fit. Each Diode Dynamics LED Pod Light features either a yellow or white beam which can be customized with a backlight in a hue of your choice: white, amber, red or blue. 

How does Diode Dynamics achieve maximum performance and light output? The Stage Series C1 LED Pod uses custom-engineered TIR optics and a single high-power LED chip. Unlike traditional optics which lose light internally and to glare, TIR optics are far more focused and efficient. They collect all of the light from the LED and direct it only where needed to reduce glare.

Traditional optics can lose up to ten percent of light output shining through an outer lens, but not the patent-pending TIR optic. It serves as both optic and main lens for noticeably greater efficiency and light output. Reflectors and simple lenses simply can't match the intensity of TIR optics when paired with high-intensity LED chips! 

To meet your auxiliary lighting demands, Diode Dynamics developed each incredibly functional beam pattern via optical simulation modeling. The wide pattern is particularly useful for general illumination. It features a full 50-degree spread but keeps a tighter 20-degree vertical spread. While it has a slight punch, it still fills out the area.
