Not only does Diode Dynamics take the crown when it comes to the highest output intensity of any 5-inch LED pod on the market, but the Pro level delivers 90 total watts of power, more than double that of the Sport model.

Diode Dynamics relies on high-intensity LED emitters and TIR optics, rather than traditional reflectors, to achieve unsurpassed focus and output minus the glare. This patented technology proves far more efficient than simple lenses, which lose a considerable amount of light internally. 

Select the Driving beam, which produces a 30x20 degree spread, if you're in need of excellent general illumination at high speeds. Or, check out the Combo pattern, which uses a 30x20 Driving beam surrounded by Flood optics on the top and bottom to create a full 70x30 degree pattern.

Finally, select the Spot beam, an unmodified pattern that shines light directly from the TIR optic, for an ultra-focused 15-degree beam of light. With an impressive output of 406,000 candela, the SS5 Pro shines a mile away (1/4 lux).

Please Note: The Pro Spot uses a larger LED emitter, which spreads the light output into a 20-degree pattern. Although the Pro has much more raw output, the larger beam pattern results in slightly lower total intensity.
