If your dome light trim is faded, broken, or missing or you just wanna add that fine detail to your restoration, this dome light lens is just what you need. It's designed to fit your 1964 to 1972 F-Series truck and looks just like the original one with the white diffuser and chrome trim. It's gonna be a super easy install that'll give the interior of our truck that fine detail. For more information and pricing, click the link in the description down below. Now let's get to the install.
Okay. As you can see, our dome light cover is not looking very good at all. The diffuser is actually gone, so when you turn the dome light on, the bulb is just exposed. Doesn't look that good. The chrome is pretty much nonexistent.
So we're gonna remove the two screws and hold it on and get this ugly thing out of here.
Grab your new trim. Put a screw through it and install it onto the truck. Don't tighten this one all the way just yet. Just get it started and get the other one.
Then you can tighten both.
Just like that, our interior is looking a little bit better.
All right. Just like that, we got our dome light trimmer placed and got this ugly thing out of here. Probably one of the easiest installs or upgrades you'll do to this truck. Seriously, it's only two screws. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and about two minutes, and before you know it, you'll be heading down the road.
