Door Jamb Courtesy Light Switch Chevy/ GMC Trucks 85-87

Maintain proper interior courtesy light operation in 1985-1987 Chevy and GMC trucks with a factory-style door jamb light switch. Mounted in the front door jamb, this spring-loaded plunger switch controls the interior dome light circuit as the door opens and closes.

The threaded metal housing secures the switch in the factory mounting location, while the two-blade electrical connector interfaces with the vehicle's wiring. When the door opens, the plunger extends to complete the circuit and activate the interior courtesy light. Closing the door depresses the plunger to interrupt the circuit.
