Edelbrock Head Stud Kit for 1949-1953 Flathead Engines with an Edelbrock Cylinder Head.
With a 170,000 PSI rating, this head stud kit is the best way to secure your 1949-1953 flathead engine and its Edelbrock cylinder head (8502). This kit is tailored for use with Edelbrock part numbers 1115 and 1116. It contains chromoly bolts that are cold formed for excellent integrity down to the molecular level. Afterwards, they’re heat treated before thread rolling and machining for extra strength. Since their heads sit at a smaller 0.4375” diameter, they even spare you the hassle of removing the valve train for cylinder head re-torquing. The kit is complete with stainless steel washers, acorn nuts, and studs.
