Dyno-proven torque and horsepower gains are just a click away. What your 1955-1986 Small Block Chevy Engine really needs for that extra punch in performance is an Edelbrock Performer EPS Intake Manifold (2703). The assembly produces power from off-idle to 5500 rpm.
The Intake Manifold is intended for 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys, and the "tuned" runner design has demonstrated peak torque at 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine. The Intake Manifold incorporates a modern runner design with a front-mounted oil fill tube. It's perfect for the enthusiast who wants the retro look of Edelbrock's Classic valve covers with no breathers. In addition to the included Oil Fill Tube (not installed), you also receive a matching push-in breather cap.
Features and Benefits:
- Patented Dual-Plane, Low-Rise Design
- 180-Degree Firing Order
- Improves Torque over Wide RPM Range
- Dyno-Proven Performance Gains
- Proudly Made in the USA!
Edelbrock's patented design includes dual-plane, low-rise features with a 180-degree firing order. This dramatically improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response.
Compared to Edelbrock's Performer intake manifold (2101), the Performer EPS delivers more action. Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft-lbs. of torque on a 350 Chevy. From 3000 to 4500 rpm, the increases averaged 5+ ft-lbs. of torque.
