The Performer RPM Air-Gap strategically separates the runners from high-temperature engine oil. The resulting air/fuel mixture is cooler, which in turn produces a denser charge and increased power. Edelbrock incorporates race-winning technology in the production of this Intake Manifold for the best performance.

Tech Tips: 
- Accepts all late model alternator and A/C brackets for the street.
- Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock P/N: EDL7202.
- Recommended carburetor: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 750-800 cfm. Use bracket P/N: EDL8031 for 1972-1978.

Additional Notes:
- Will not fit under stock hood of Corvette, 1964-1967 Chevelle, or 1967-1981 Camaro.
- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant P/N: EDL1076. Do not use end seals gaskets. 
- Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
