Edelbrock Slingshot Dual Carb Intake Manifold for 1938-1953 Ford Flathead V8 Engines.

Maximize your 1938-1953 Ford Flathead V8 engine’s potential by investing in this intake manifold (1103). Part of Edelbrock’s Slingshot series, this manifold hosts a unique Y-shaped carburetor stand with stainless steel acorn nuts. This lets you mount two three-bolt carburetors with 4.75" of spacing between them, all while keeping the stock generator in its original location. Add in the fact that it comes with a main runner casting and it makes for a convenient design that foments power. For easy installation, it comes with a gasket and assembly hardware.

Tech Tip: Edelbrock recommends using this intake manifold with a 94 or 97 2-barrel carburetor with a 3-bolt flange.

Additional Notes:
- To prevent vacuum leaks, please use a small amount of Teflon paste.
- Hardened washers must be used with the intake bolts to ensure proper torquing and prevent aluminum galling.
