Edelbrock Victor Ram 2-R Intake Manifold Base for Carbureted Big Block V8 Chevy

Give your Big Block V8 Chevy engine a base that can handle high horsepower levels via this intake manifold base (7085). Edelbrock specially crafted this base for carbureted applications with conventional, rectangular-port cylinder heads. An improvement on the standard Ram 2-R design, it uses 7” long runners with a plenum that’s roughly 5-1/2 square inches. This makes it 25% larger than the original, operating within 4500 to 8500 RPM. The aluminum construction then ensures that it’s durable and lightweight.

Tech Tip: It is recommended to use Edelbrock P/N: 7208 or Fel-Pro P/N: 1275 as the intake gasket with this base.

Additional Notes:
- Do NOT use end seal gaskets with this base.
- Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
