These gaskets are built for racing applications, offering a durable Cork-Lam construction to prevent high vacuum and blowout. The Cork-Lam design features a steel core with a cork-rubber material chemically and mechanically bonded to both sides. This creates a larger-than-average 0.313” thickness, resulting in exceptional torque retention with extra clearance between the valvetrain and valve cover.
