Rated 1 out of 5 by 69B2 from Very disappointing I bought this because the rubber in my old heater box flap had hardened and prevented the flap from positioning properly. Low and behold, the rubber in the new unit was too large/misaligned and did the same thing. I had replaced the adjustments rods at the same time and the NEW heater box bent my NEW rod when trying to adjust. I ended up having to shave the rubber down on both sides of the flap to allow it to travel through all positions. Not what I expected.
