Install Difficulty:
- Easy Project
1. Check for any damage during shipping or issues with the part. My Mustang CPC BOD-713-233 Front Spoiler had a the end tabs curled up so I used a couple of cedar shims and some claps to straighten.

2. I used a heat gun to soften the plastic (it doesn't take long and don't use too high of heat). I then lightly clamped the plastic tabs between 2 pieces of wood and let it cool. If you don't straighten out this curl you will have a hard time mounting the spoiler flat to the lower valance.

3. Line the edge of the spoiler up to the two front edges on the Mustang valance and center using the two pre drilled holes near the edge and the holes in the spoiler.

4. Start with the center mounting holes use a 1/8-inch drill bit and hold your spoiler to the valance and drill your hole. Install the mounting screws and continue to work your way to the front corners. After you get to the front corners the spoiler will still be hanging down at the back end.

5. Push the end of the California Pony Cars spoiler up the valance on the side of the car. The goal is to get the flat mounting surface flat to the valance. The back end of the spoiler will pitch up to give the spoiler a nice aggressive appearance. Drill your holes and mount the spoiler completely on one side.

6. Measure the corner of the spoiler from the bottom of the Mustang fender and the front of the wheel well. My measurements were 1.5" down and 1.375" forward. Using some tape, move to the other side and mark the corner.

7. Move the corner of the Mustang front spoiler into corner of the tape and check to make sure the mounting surface is flush with the lower valance. Drill your hole and mount the corner screw.

8. Continue drilling and mounting the Mustang CPC Front Spoiler from the front corner to the end. Stand back and enjoy the new look.
