JLT Performance oil separators prevent oil vapors from accumulating in the intake manifold. Constructed from high-quality billet aluminum, they have a clear or black anodized finish. JLT offers oil separators for both the driver and passenger sides.

JLT uses a dual-stage filtration system that allows vapors to pass through a fine stainless steel mesh screen. Once they're heavy enough, they pass through an aluminum honeycomb filter. During filtration, the droplets grow larger and fall into the bottom of the canister. The oil is then too heavy to pass through to the intake.

JLT Performance oil separators have a knurled tank base that twists off easily. This makes emptying the collected oil simple. An O-ring helps keep a tight seal and prevent any oil from leaking out.

The amount of oil that accumulates depends mostly on temperatures and driving conditions. JLT’s oil separators have a max capacity of three ounces of fluid. JLT recommends draining the catch can every 2,000 - 25,000 miles. If you follow these guidelines, you won't come close to filling the large reservoir.
