Everyone wants to add their own personal touch to their Jeep, so today were going to be installing these Kentrol Liftgate Hinge Overlays on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler to cover up the old faded black ones. These Kentrol Liftgate Hinge Overlays are made of high-quality 304 stainless steel with a beautiful mirror polish finish to give your Jeep a bit of shine and a premium look. They easily install over the factory Liftgate hinge with the pre-applied 3M tape, so today we're going to install them on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

These Liftgate hinge covers are actually super easy to install. The first thing I'm going to do is wipe down the factory hinge cover with some alcohol to make it nice and clean. Just got to wipe the surface here, make sure it's clean so it can stick properly. And do the same thing to the other side. That, right there, is why you wipe them with alcohol.

Once your surface is clean, you can peel the backing off the 3M tape. Once you peel all the backing off, you can install the cover. These covers are side-specific, so make sure you put the one that's labeled RH on the passenger side. Get it on there, press and hold it for about 30 seconds to make sure it stays, then install the other one. Get the other one on, and you are done. It's that simple.

Okay, our Kentrol Liftgate Covers are installed. They actually look like they could be a factory option. They're looking really good and they give it a premium touch. Installation is super easy. You don't need any tools. It should only take about 5 to 10 minutes, and before you know it you can be heading off-road.
