These break caliper covers are made of high quality T6 6061 aluminum in your choice of red or black with a nice Ford logo that will give your truck a nice custom look and reduce the amount of break dust that gets on your wheels.
They come with everything you need for an easy installation so today we're gonna install them on our 2016 F-150.
Installing these caliber covers is pretty easy. The first thing you have to do is get the truck up in the air and take the wheel off then grab your cover and loosen the nuts on the back of the cover.
You don't have to completely remove them. Just give them enough room for the brackets to get into. Place the cover over the caliber and make sure it sits flush against the caliber. Then slide the clips onto the bracket and underneath the nut. Do the same thing on the bottom of the caliber.
Once you get both clips on, tighten up both nuts with a 10 millimeter socket.
Once you have everything tightened down, check and make sure you have clearance on the clips. If the rotor is touching it, just bend the clips a little bit and you should be good. Then once you're finished you can move onto the rear.
Okay. We're at the rear of the truck now, same process as the front. Take the wheel off, place the cover on the caliber nice and flush then install the clips. Place the cover on the caliber. Then install your clip. If you think the clip is too small, remove the clip, spread it with your fingers to open it a little wider, then it should fit perfectly. Same thing on the bottom.
Then tighten down both nuts.
All right. Then repeat the process on the other side and your installation's finished.
Our MGP break caliber covers are installed. They pop really well behind these black wheels and they give our F-150 a nice custom touch. Installation's super easy. It should only take about an hour and before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
