EcoBoost Engine Parts

From the factory, the Mustang's 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine offers a lot of power. But aftermarket mods can give you even more horsepower and torque. Whether you’re driving on the street or autocrossing on the weekends, engine upgrades will make your pony more fun to drive.

While the EcoBoost motor can’t be made to sound like a V8, you can enjoy the sounds of the turbo-four even more with some mods. Adding a blow-off valve will give you a much more noticeable hiss as exhaust gases exit the system. Plus, a new blow-off valve might be necessary if you’re adding a tune to your Mustang.

Performance tunes can give your Mustang a more responsive throttle and more power. They’re simple to use, and the install is as easy as plugging it into your car’s computer. You can customize your tune exactly to your liking.

Besides a blow-off valve, some tunes require a new cold air intake. Even if it's not necessary, adding one can give you more horsepower and torque gains. If you don’t want to add an entire cold air kit, a new air filter can bring more fresh air into your engine. A less restrictive set-up will also make it easier to hear the turbocharger and intake.
