1967-1970 Mustang Black Curved Monte Carlo Bar
This Black Curved Monte Carlo Bar fits all 1967-1970 Mustangs.
Help prevent shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering by installing this Monte Carlo Bar for 1967-1970 Mustangs. The Monte Carlo Bar also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks, while the curved design allows for extra clearance for oval air cleaners and aftermarket distributors.

1. To begin installing the Mustang Monte Carlo Bar, open the hood.

2. Locate and remove the top 2 bolts on the right fender well, forward of the shock tower.


3. It is easier to reach the nuts underneath if you turn the wheels.

4. Remove the nuts from the top 2 bolts on the left Mustang fenderwell, just forward of the shock tower.

5. A view of the inner fenderwell on the left side.

6. Place the bar onto the left fender bolts and line up the right fender holes. You may need to jack the car up to relieve the compression on the shock towers, and allow them to spread apart slightly for the Mustang Monte Carlo bar to fit properly.


7. Put nuts and bolts back thru and snug down.

8. Center punch and drill inner Mustang fender with a 11/32" drill bit.

9. Put in 5/16" bolts.

10. Make sure to fully tighten all bolts. Enjoy your new Mustang Monte Carlo Bar.
