Mustang Pitman Arms
Enhance Steering with Mustang Pitman Arms
Pitman arms are an essential part of your Mustang’s steering system. They're attached to the steering gear and move in a circular motion, with the help of a ball joint, to enable your wheels to turn left or right when you turn your steering wheel. Pitman arms also help pivot the idler arms on the passenger side, which makes sure everything moves smoothly.
The pitman arms on your Mustang can wear out over time. If you feel as though your car is pulling to one side or the other, it may point to a failing pitman arm. We carry direct-fit replacement pitman arms for power or manual steering as well as year and model.
