Classic Mustangs had a very limited selection when it came to audio equipment. A lot of the systems only worked with AM band stations, which don't get a high-quality signal. But upgrading your radio is an option for any Mustang, and with a new system you can make sure your playlist suits your driving style.

New radios are available with AM and FM compatibility, and even adding an AUX or Bluetooth connection isn't out of the question. But any radio upgrade is going to require a speaker upgrade as well.

To really appreciate your music, you can also look at reducing outside noise with underlayment and insulation. This will have several other benefits as well, like keeping your temperature comfortable regardless of the weather. Don't forget to get the speaker wire you'll need to get everything wired correctly as well.
