This heat cool and defrost unit (IP-5100) made by Old Air Products is designed for use in all 1953-1955 Ford F100 trucks. This new unit will directly mount to the firewall in your truck using its original mounting holes. This will allow you to pass the heater and A/C lines and fittings right through the factory blower motor hole so they can be sealed with a rubber grommet. The standard rotary electronic controls included with this kit (IP-5100) feature high torque servo motors and serve to control the defrost and heater functions. The controls feature a black faceplate. The factory cowl vent is retained and also includes a custom glove box made explicitly for use with this heat, cool, and defrost unit thanks to its compact design.
Please Note: This kit is an interior package and does not include a condenser/drier or compressor.
