Using a low-friction Dyneema fiber, the Soft Shackle offers superior articulation and nearly as much utility as a metal shackle. When standard recovery simply isn't enough, run a braided synthetic line through the soft shackle without the need for a traditional snatch block application. The Soft Shackle from Overland Vehicle Systems features a 7/16" diameter and a 41,000lb load limit. It's designed with a loop and an abrasive-resistant sleeve.

The 7/16" Soft Shackle is incredibly strong and can perform just about every function of a metal shackle, often better. In fact, Dyneema rope is so strong that an equivalent wire rope would be three times as thick, and a top-quality stainless steel shackle with a 3/4in pin would have less than half the breaking strength.

Best of all, Soft Shackles don't damage bumpers, rattle when they're not under load or lose pins in the middle of a trail. Plus, they're easier to undo.
