Additional Notes:
- This harness is standalone and is not intended to replace the OEM engine wiring. Standalone harnesses are intended to run the designated engine and transmission only, generally when swapped into another vehicle.
- This harness also requires the following mating parts; ECM #1227747, #16121154, or #88999146. Calpack #16060836, and a prom to match your engine: (4.3L) #16082087, (5.0L) #16139492, (5.7L) #16139566, (7.4L) #16128359. This Prom does not control any transmission or torque converter functions.
- Will NOT work with a 1994 or 1995 ECM and will not operate a 4L60E transmission.
- If you plan to mount the ECM under or behind the passenger seat please see Painless Performance part number 60201 as it provides 8' of harness length between the main engine breakout and the ECM connectors.
Installs which have an external coil distributor:
- Painless Performance part # 60124 - This pigtail will be required in order to connect the coil to the distributor.
- Painless Performance part # 60125 - This pigtail will be required in order to connect the power to the coil and will provide a tach signal from the coil.
